Google Search Changes Clothes!

A few minutes ago, when I was searching something in Google, it was wearing the same old clothes (old UI) but when I searched again, it suddenly started to look nicer!

Update: It seems like this layout is gone, as my readers are saying in their comments. But I’m still seeing the same new layout even after clearing my browser cache. I found a different layout screenshot posted on Google Blogoscoped so maybe they are just testing the new layouts.

I’m not sure if they changed anything in their MAC section. The screenshots that you are able to see in this post are showing the new Google Search Results layout.
When I searched for “Robotics quotes”, it was showing the same old layout but after waiting 2 or 3 minutes, when I searched again for “Google Blog”, it started to show the new layout.
The second screenshot is of the bottom section.

WOW! That’s really weird then. I’m still seeing the same new layout even after clearing my browser cache twice. I even restarted my PC but seeing the same new layout. :-/
Maybe they are testing new layouts?

You’re right. They’re possily testing it out.
I checked it out too; wanted to make a blog post on the same, but didn’t. They reverted it back to default, hardly 20 minutes after its launch.
Guess what was the Error?
The Search Engine Footer was left aligned and looked weird.

I also had a quick-question.
At first visit, I am really amazed by your blog Design and its content. I checked out the footer for the credit line and visited the designer’s website for this WP Download link.
But it seems, that this layout is not there. Can you please guide me through. I would appreciate a reply at the mail id I have provided you with.

Thanks for stopping by! But I’m sorry to say that you can’t find this layout anywhere on the Web. The current theme is 90% modified by me and based on fjords04 WordPress theme.
If you like the layout of this blog and have CSS skills, I’ll recommend to visit Peter Andrej’s blog. There you’ll find fjords04 theme.

I visited Peter Andrej’s blog as i was in need of a unique layout to start a good one…
But i think it would be tough for me to change the theme as i dont know CSS in deep.
Lets see further for best ;)

Hmm. Yes I have seen these various changes in interface and now it’s back again. I looked in their Google Labs section and it does explain a bit about the stuff that they’re trying out.
