Living Outside the United States? No Pandora For You!

As Michael Arrington wrote over at TechCrunch, international access to Pandora Internet Radio has been blocked. Though I’m not worried or sad because of this access restriction, a few people in my friend circle are a bit sad who were regular users of Pandora Internet Radio.
Today, one of my regular readers tried to visit Pandora and found this:

Sue RIAA! Well, if you can’t do that, I’ll suggest to use Finetune. It’s an awesome Internet radio service and so far, it’s available worldwide.

Tell them they made a mistake!
the one thing about every other internet radio service that isn’t pandora is the lack of non-popular music.
i’ve gone to all of them and searched on the bands that drove my pandora station, the one that introduced me to a ton of new music that i would have never heard of .. and nada.
the really sad thing about canadian restriction of pandora is that no one is there to introduce NEW, TRUELY NEW music to me in the genre i’m interested in.
i really hope they figure the licensing thing out soon. the withdrawal symptoms have been deep and hard to get past.
